Visuospatial Neglect: Definitions and Treatment

Dr. Amber Thiessen interviews Dr. Peggy Blake on visuospatial neglect and the different types of neglect that can co-occur. Dr. Blake describes neglect and its different forms, as well as the impact specific tasks and stimuli can have on the presentation of neglect. The breakout will review various available treatments for neglect, and the evidence supporting visual scanning. Finally, Dr. Blake describes how neglect is not the same thing as hemianopia (visual field cut), but they can co-occur.
