Over the last ten years, telepractice has grown exponentially, allowing more clients to be served by highly qualified clinicians around the country and the world. Training prior to beginning services is critical to the successful provision of telepractice-based services and understanding differences between in-person and remote services, which assists clinicians in offering high-quality, productive sessions. This course will lay the groundwork for effective telepractice services. Participants will learn about current technology, laws and regulations, best practices in therapy, and preventing common barriers to telepractice.
