This course will continue where your Emergency Action Plan leaves off, providing additional information on fire safety in the hospital setting. Learners will be shown how to appropriately respond to fires and how to use a fire extinguisher. This course will cover important concepts like smoke compartments, fire teams and defend-in-place. This course will also examine specific fire risks in your facility and the types of evacuations common in a facility like yours.
