Preventing Patient Falls: A Guide for Non-Clinical Staff

This course will help non-clinical staff to identify individuals at their facility that have been designated a fall risk. Learners will also explore some of the risk factors, conditions and medications that contribute to falls. Next, they will look at the different hazards that pose a threat to fall risk individuals and how those hazards should be resolved. Finally, learners will step through a scenario that will help them to understand their role and responsibilities if they witness a fall in their facility.
