Mr. Tom was referred to your clinic one week status post right long finger extensor digitorum communis (EDC) repair in zone V. The referral states the surgeon wants the patient to be treated by immobilization with close supervision from the therapist. The repair site is distal to the juncturae tendinum interconnection.
