Healthcare organizations in Texas should have policies and procedures related to HIV and AIDS and links to community resources. This course also discusses steps to take if someone receives a diagnosis of HIV or AIDS as well as reporting requirements.

This course helps meet employee education requirements for healthcare organizations, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and those providing home health and hospice services, as described in Texas Health and Safety Code, Title I, § 85.010.
