Katie Whetstone

Dr. Katie Whetstone is a board-certified clinical specialist in the area of sports physical therapy and a full-time faculty member at the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana. Katie has a Bachelor of Science degree in the area of exercise science as well as a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She also completed formal sports physical therapy training through the ProRehab/University of Evansville Sports Residency Program. At the University of Evansville, she teaches musculoskeletal content in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, including courses such as Gross Anatomy, Kinesiology, Musculoskeletal Patient Management, and Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Patient Management. Clinically, she treats individuals with general orthopedic diagnoses in an outpatient clinic in Newburgh, Indiana, and works with Division I athletes at the University of Evansville. Her special interests include the adolescent female athlete, the postpartum female athlete, and sports injury prevention.
