Gerrita Morris

Gerrita Morris is the president of Dysphagia Solutions Inc. and is based in Wesley Chapel, Florida. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication sciences and disorders from the University of Florida in Gainesville in 1991 and 1993, respectively. Ms. Morris has been a speech-language pathologist for 28 years and has worked across a number of settings, including public and private schools, skilled nursing facilities, acute care hospitals, specialty hospitals, and private practice. She has owned and been the sole endoscopist for her mobile FEES practice since 2005. In addition, she continues to provide prn speech services for acute care hospitals and skilled nursing facilities, and she provides guest lectures at universities as well as for the FEES Biz and Inner Circle events. She also assists Dr. Eric Blicker with training for FEES through Community Care Partners Inc. and completes competency training and mentorship for FEES clinicians. She is a member of ASHA and SIG 13.
