Julie Mulcahy

Julie received her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Michigan. For the past 20+ years, she has specialized in orthopedics, sports medicine, and women’s health. She obtained her Certificate of Achievement in Pregnancy and Postpartum Physical Therapy (CAPP-OB) in 2021 and her LAMP Institute for Leadership Certificate in Healthcare in 2023. Her passion is leveraging technology and digital tools to improve patient engagement, access, and outcomes for chronic health conditions. She is the senior clinical program manager at Omada Health and has been treating patients exclusively with telehealth since 2019. She also manages a nationwide network of virtual PTs. She has presented on the use of technology in the rehabilitation sciences at the American Physical Therapy Association and American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine on the national and international levels. She is a published author in Topics in Geriatric Rehabilitation, the Journal of Medical Internet Research, the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior, Choose PT.com, and several health and fitness publications. She was formerly an adjunct faculty member in the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Baker College.
