Samantha Morrell

Samantha Morrell is the Manager of Education with Well Care Home Health. She has been with Well Care for 11 years and began her career there as an RN case manager before transitioning to the Education Department. She has been a nurse for 14 years with experience in Med/Surg, Oncology, Hospice, and Home Health.

As the Manager of Education, Samantha oversees the onboarding of new employees to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and skill to perform their roles effectively and efficiently. She is responsible for ensuring clinicians receive continuing education required for licensure as well as the creation of professional development opportunities for all employees. She is passionate about professional development and has worked to create a Preceptor Ladder Program and Leadership Certificate Program to promote resiliency within the organizations mentors and leaders to positively impact retention and employee satisfaction.

Samantha is dedicated to her own professional development as she holds a certification in Certified Oasis Quality Specialist (COQS) and will pursue her Master’s in Nursing Education through the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2024.
