Alan Wilson, DPT, Six Sigma & Lean Green Belt

Vice President of Rehabilitation, Sentara Health

Alan Wilson is Vice President of Sentara Therapy Centers and Sentara Sports Medicine Athletic Training Services, within Sentara’s integrated Healthcare System. Sentara has approximately sixty outpatient therapy centers and employs more than seven hundred therapy providers. Sentara … Healthcare has twelve hospitals within Virginia and North Carolina, covers over 800,000 health plan members and employs more than 1,500 quality physicians and advance practice providers, completing more than 2.8 million patient visits each year. Alan graduated from Shenandoah University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy and has been practicing and leading therapy services, for 28 years. Alan has experience working and leading outpatient, inpatient, home health, wound, cardiac rehab, pain management, chiropractic, and sports/ athletic training services. Alan uses Six Sigma and Lean principles to lead value-based therapy strategies, within Sentara’s integrated Health Plan and medical group. Alan’s mission is to maximize his relationships through servant leadership, focusing on leading others in becoming self-aware and reaching their full potential. Alan has been married for 30 years, has four children, and loves water sports.

Caci Gilden, MPT

Manager, Sentara Health

Caci is a 28 year physical therapist who has been with Sentara 27 years, after graduating from Old Dominion University. As a treating clinician her focus was primarily orthopedics. She has been in a leadership position with Sentara since 2003 and has managed a variety of departments … including rehab and pain management. Her passion over the last year has been the development of Sentara’s virtual therapy programs and digital solutions. Caci has 3 grown children and has been happily married for 37 years. She spends her downtime with her family and her horse, Oscar.

Don Packard, PT, FACHE

Director of Rehabilitation, Corewell Health

Don Packard is currently a Rehabilitation Director at Corwell Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His oversight is for Clinical Rehab Practice for the system which includes: orientation/onboarding, competency, clinical education, continuing education, regulatory/accreditation, … virtual services, and third party relationships. Don is heavily involved with strategic projects for the system and has a passion for therapist and patient engagement. He received his BS in Kinesiology from University of Michigan (’99) and his MSPT from Boston University (’02). He recently achieved his Fellowship with the American College of Health Executives. He is active with state level leadership, teaching, and coaching.
