Lisa Wauters

Lisa Wauters is a doctoral candidate at the University of Texas at Austin. She is part of the National Aphasia Association's PPA Task Force. She recently published a systematic review of evidence for speech-language treatment in PPA. Other research projects that she has led have examined a treatment for agrammatism in progressive aphasia, a support group for individuals with progressive aphasia, and pairing speech-language interventions with home-based tDCS in PPA.
