Say No to the Faux: Dubious Diet Trends, Tests, and Supplements (6pm)

Description

In the quest to optimize performance, athletes may be tempted to try unproven, potentially harmful, or useless testing, resulting in nutrient exclusion, increased reliance on supplementation, and adverse consequences for health. As the gatekeepers and athletes’ advocates, our responsibility is to dissuade
athletes from questionable practices and guide them to recommendations based on science over speculation.

This webinar will equip practitioners with the evidence and applicable knowledge to carefully guide athletes in navigating diet trends, tests, and supplements. This webinar is for practitioners in athletic training, physical therapy, and nursing who support athletes in a variety of settings, from outpatient to schools and universities.

For your convenience/to improve accessibility, this webinar will be offered at two times, 12pm and 6pm ET. Please register for only one session.
