This chapter will focus on the history and background of yoga and its practice. The general benefits of yoga practice will be examined.
2. Supportive Research in Healthcare and Speech-Language Pathology
This chapter will focus on current evidence in healthcare using yoga practices with a wide range of populations. We will then focus more narrowly on the field of speech-language pathology and the evidence to support incorporating yoga to clinical practice.
3. Application of Yoga Practices
This chapter will focus on physical demonstrations of yoga strategies and exercises that can be applied to a wide range of populations. Next, we will focus on examples of how yoga has been used in specific populations.
