There is scant up-to-date information available for clinicians on how to treat individuals with concussion. This work is a significant expansion of what we have done previously, using the most up-to-date evidence for intervention according to clinical profiles. Clinicians will be exposed to management of vestibular and ocular profiles following mild head injury. The course provides many illustrations and video demonstrations of treatment ideas for persons who fit the vestibular and/or oculomotor profiles. Several cases are utilized to illustrate the exercises that are often prescribed and when exercises should be provided during patient management. This course is appropriate for physical and occupational therapists who treat persons post concussion/mild brain injury in all settings.

Chapters & learning objectives
1. A Complex BPPV Treatment Case
A complex case of a person post head injury with horizontal and subsequent posterior canal benign paroxysmal positional vertigo is discussed. Clinical pearls are provided regarding decision-making and management of an older person post brain injury treated in the home who was at risk for falling and had a history of past fractures.
2. Management of the Vestibular Profile
Treatment of a person who fits the vestibular profile after concussion/mild TBI is discussed with many illustrations and videos of exercises commonly used for dizziness or balance deficits post concussion. Treatment progression ideas are included to help clinicians progress their exercise prescription for optimal patient outcomes.
3. Management of the Ocular Profile
A detailed case of a person with an ocular profile following concussion is described with specific information about treating oculomotor impairment. Many examples of treatment, including vergence exercises, are demonstrated. Concepts of how to advance the exercise prescription are described in detail.
