1. Introduction to Medical Screening

This chapter will provide an introduction to differential diagnosis and medical screening for aging adults. The importance of screening and identifying red flags will be discussed in terms of recognizing signs and symptoms related to systemic disease or a condition that mimics neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction.

2. Screening for Cardiovascular Conditions in the Aging Adult: Part One

This chapter will discuss medical screening for conditions of the cardiovascular and pulmonary systems that are common in aging adults. The importance of reviewing history, risk factors, clinical presentation, and associated signs and symptoms will be covered.

3. Screening for Cardiovascular Conditions in the Aging Adult: Part Two

This chapter will discuss medical screening for conditions of the male and female urogenital systems that are common in aging adults. The importance of reviewing history, risk factors, clinical presentation, and associated signs and symptoms will be covered.

4. Screening for Respiratory Conditions in the Aging Adult
