1. Overview of Aggressive Behavior in the Rehabilitation Setting
It is important for all healthcare providers working in rehabilitation to have an understanding of best practices when working with patients demonstrating aggressive behavior. By completing a holistic assessment for all patients, including their behavioral responses to stressors, early recognition and prompt interventions can be initiated to decrease the incidence of aggressive behaviors.
2. Preventing Aggressive Behavior in the Rehabilitation Setting
Methods that can be utilized by all healthcare professionals to prevent the development of aggressive behavior in the rehabilitation setting will be discussed.
