1. Evaluation of Radiation Associated Dysphagia
In this chapter, Dr. Hutcheson reviews material from the first installment of the course series, describing the pathophysiology of RAD. She also elaborates on evidence-based evaluative tools for identifying the type and progression of RAD in head and neck cancer patients.
2. Prevention and Management of Radiation Associated Dysphagia
This chapter provides background and instruction on evidence-based management strategies for acute and late stage RAD.
