What approaches can be used to properly assess and treat a child’s self-regulation? Challenges in self-regulation often lead children to display difficulty with participation in age appropriate activities that require practical methods of assessment for proper treatment intervention. This course reviews the self-regulation and mindfulness program interventions and treatment techniques to address a child’s self-regulation relating to diagnoses such as autism, sensory processing disorder, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Treatment approaches are appropriate for therapists, teachers, and some for parents as well.
