Jessica Asiello

Jessica Asiello is an assistant professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the MGH Institute for Health Professions in Boston, Massachusetts. She primarily teaches in the online postprofessional OTD program.

Her clinical practice is in acute care at Massachusetts General Hospital, with specialty experience with medically complex patients in the intensive care unit setting. Her scholarly interests include functional recovery in cardiac and neurological populations, the role of OT in acute care and the ICU, healthcare quality improvement, the transition to adulthood for youth with disabilities, and the scholarship of teaching and learning for healthcare professionals. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and regional conferences.
