Performing treatments is an important part of the Licensed Staff tasks. Treatments are ordered as medical treatment, for monitoring/assessing acute issues, and monitoring of success of interventions. This is often part of the job that takes second place to other tasks like administering medication or charting. Part one of this two-course series will explain considerations around topically applied treatments and look closely at dressing changes in wound care.
