The presentation of dizziness is complex, with multiple body systems being able to cause the symptoms. As clinicians, we need to be able to systematically screen multiple body systems to determine their potential influence on dizziness. This module will introduce a patient case that will serve as an overview of the elements that should be included as part of a comprehensive assessment for cervicogenic dizziness.

1. Cervicogenic Dizziness
Cervicogenic dizziness (CGD) is a diagnosis of exclusion, involving multiple body systems that must first be ruled out before treatment begins. For this course, a demonstration of a patient experiencing neck pain and dizziness will be presented. This high-level overview of evaluating patients with CGD is presented to help providers make the best decisions about patient care.
