Jaspal Singh

Jaspal Singh currently serves as professor of medicine at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, practicing and teaching in the Department of Medicine, Virtual Critical Care Center, and Levine Cancer Institute. Jaspal is board certified in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine, serving as the Atrium Health medical director of adult critical care practice and education as well director of innovation and quality improvement in pulmonary oncology. His clinical expertise spans an array of critical care and thoracic oncology areas but really is centered in understanding how healthcare systems adapt to physician shortages. This has led to work investigating how to incorporate innovation, technology, and team-based care in a number of ways. In addition to patient care, Jaspal’s daily work includes teaching, writing, speaking, and serving in several capacities and leadership roles. His active projects include combining novel educational modalities with simulation to enhance patient care.
