This course is the second in a two-part series on bathroom solutions, with Marnie Renda. In this installment, learners will explore the complex problems associated with modifying tubs and showers for the disabled adult to prevent falls and maintain access to bathing. The goal of this course is for learners to develop the foundational skills and reasoning to provide the best recommendations for facilitating independent bathing. The course begins by reviewing the measurements and ADA recommendations essential to assessing bathing situations. Marnie Renda then provides examples of real solutions, the reasoning behind each modification, and the pros and cons for different modification options.
